Fashion Forward Competition.

Thank you for entering our competition and showing us how your spinning,weaving, felting, dyeing and knitting rocks the fashion world.

The winner is Vicky Hunt, from Whangaparaoa, NZ, with her necklace 'Aotearoa' which uses handspun Ashford Polwarth dyed with Ashford dyes and mohair locks (with paua shell pieces) using the super coil technique. The necklace also includes a vintage 1940s dolls eye (which 'blinks'), faux bone, resin, vintage glass shards and fine silver beads. Vicky will receive a new Ashford Wild Carder. Vicky makes mixed media art jewellery (generally using wet & needle felt techniques) and has had success at the International Beads Arts Awards andthe NZ Jewellery Show.
